Retreat Business Services

Retreat groups are one of the most valuable kinds of business a property can welcome.

Wellness travel is one of the fastest-growing segments of the global travel industry, and retreats sit at its heart. A retreat brings a whole group at once – booked months ahead, staying a full week, often outside the high season, and spending well beyond the room.

More than yoga mats and a beautiful view

Yet most properties that try it on their own find that interest does not turn into a profitable business. A successful retreat offer needs the right concept, the right spaces, proven specialists – and above all, numbers that work: pricing, costs and occupancy planned so that every group adds real profit to the property.

That is what we build with you – from the first audit to the first group on your calendar.

What we do

We combine business planning and financial analysis with real estate and market expertise, so every decision is measured against its commercial return. In practice, that means we look at your property the way an investor would – and build the retreat line the way a host would.

A retreat is not a room block with yoga mats.

It is a product with its own pricing, its own guests and its own sales channels. We design that product with you: what you offer, who it is for, what it costs, who delivers it and how it sells. Then we stay through launch until the first retreats are on your calendar and the model proves itself.

Business planning

A realistic plan for your retreat line: costs, capacity, seasonality and the revenue it can add.

Financial analysis

Numbers before decisions – occupancy, pricing and return on every investment we recommend.

Real estate

What your property can genuinely support: spaces, flow, privacy and the upgrades that pay back.

Market expertise

Who is booking retreats, what they pay for, and where your property fits in that market.

Guest experience

Programmes designed around real guests – arrival to departure, not a brochure fantasy.

Partners & sales

The specialists, facilitators and sales channels that fill a retreat calendar.

Retreat programme design

Complete programmes – daily schedule, experiences, menus and specialists – built around your property.

Marketing support

Brand story, photography, launch campaign and the channels that put your retreats in front of the right guests.

We transform your hotel

Spaces built for retreats.

If your hotel needs to change to host retreats, we change it. Our interior design team creates the spaces a retreat needs and makes the most of what your property already has.

Space planning

We map what each retreat needs – a shala, treatment rooms, a quiet lounge, a shared table – and find it in your existing spaces first.

Interior design

Our interior design team shapes the look and feel: natural materials, light, sound and the details guests remember and photograph.

Using what you have

Gardens, rooftops, jungle paths and terraces often become the most memorable retreat spaces – with minimal investment.

Transformation

Where needed, we redesign and convert rooms or outdoor areas so your hotel works as a retreat venue – and keeps working as a hotel.

Who it is for

Small hotels, jungle lodges, boutique properties and venues that want to use quieter periods, attract new guests and build a lasting revenue line.

The best candidates share three things: a location guests travel for, spaces that work for groups, and an owner who wants more from the property than occupancy alone.

Why work with us

Nearly twenty years in incoming tourism, corporate travel and hotel partnerships, and more than fifty retreats created and hosted. Commercially grounded, honest about what is possible.

If the numbers do not support a retreat line for your property, we will tell you in the audit – before you spend anything on building one.

Common questions

Does our property need to be a wellness hotel already?

No. Most of the properties we assess are beachfront hotels, boutique hotels or private villas with no retreat history. The audit shows what your spaces, location and team can already support – and what, if anything, needs to change before the first retreat.

How much revenue can a retreat line realistically add?

It depends on your capacity, seasonality and positioning. Retreats typically perform best in your quieter periods, filling rooms and adding programme, catering and service revenue on top. The financial analysis in step one gives you honest numbers for your property – not industry averages.

Who runs the retreats once they launch?

We build the programme, recruit the specialist team and set up the sales structure. Your hotel hosts; the retreat operation runs on the model we design together. You can keep it fully managed by your team or with our continued support.

How long does it take from audit to the first retreat?

For most properties, three to six months – depending on how much of the offer already exists. A beachfront hotel with strong F&B and spa facilities moves faster than a property starting from zero.

What does the audit cost?

The initial conversation is free. If we both see potential, the full audit is a fixed-fee engagement, quoted after we know your property – and credited against the strategy phase if we continue together.

Do you work outside the Riviera Maya?

Our home ground is the Riviera Maya and the wider Caribbean, where we know the market, the venues and the partners personally. For the right property elsewhere, we are happy to talk.
